The Huntsville Activity Center for the Huntsville School District is a 1,800-plus seat multi-level gymnasium and multi-purpose event center. The building is designed with a regulation size basketball court to allow the school to host basketball regional tournaments and also has two full-size cross court basketball courts to maximize practice time. The spectator seating is a combination of fixed seats and telescopic bleachers. There is a stage at one end for use during drama and music productions, graduations, school assemblies, as well as community events. Varsity and junior high locker rooms along with coaches’ offices, officials’ areas, laundry room, film room, weight and training room are on the lower level and concessions, school store, and hospitality room with kitchen are at the concourse level.
