Fort Smith Regional Dialysis Center

This former office facility for Altell Communications was completely remodeled for a 52 patient station End Stage Renal Dialysis Center.

• Two treatment rooms, one housing 28 patient stations plus an isolation room and one housing 22 patients.  
• Each of these treatment rooms is served by an RO Water Room which constantly circulates RO water to each patient station.  
• The indirect lighting, multi-zoned heating/cooling system and ceiling-mounted televisions help make the patients as comfortable as possible during their multi-hour stay while connected to a dialysis machine.  
• The facility operates six days a week from early morning until late evening.  Thus, the high patient traffic meant using durable, yet attractive interior finishes, which have low-to-no VOC’s and are permissible by health code/department regulations.
